Indifference

Indifference

The opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference. ―Elie Wiesel

There are many things that one can heal from. Betrayal, theft, violence, cruelty.

There is a spectrum of suffering that is beyond the comprehension of the mind, in which one can heal. And I say that because there is only but one state of understanding in which I have, in my lived experience, found there is no “beginning again”.

Something brand new must come about; there's no “beginning again”. And it is the loss of belief, which comes from broken trust.

And on a person-to-person level, one-to-one, we can say, I don't trust our media.

I don't trust our government.

I don't trust.

Uh, how long have Americans said they don't trust their government?

How long have people, not only in the military, but [also in]other factions, waved the red flag and said, “Strangeness is afoot”.

We see it in tech.

People are leaving large companies.

Something's amiss.

And that's when we are looking at the injustices at home, at face value.

But there comes a time when something very insidious and quite dangerous for society comes to pass, and that is when we don't believe you.

Trust is something you can talk about.

I don't trust you, please give me facts so that I can trust you.

Show me.

Give me something to go on here.

And what we saw happen, the attempted assassination…

Was he former IDF?

How come the vice president's wife was at the same competition as the shooter?

Was it staged?

How quickly that burned up in the ecosystem of thought, and how quickly we have moved on.

It's because we've gone now from I don't trust… Where there then is sensation, wonder, talking, chatting, trying to figure out, putting the pieces together.

When that ends, and we enter the stage of non-belief, I do not believe you. That's dangerous. Because it has global ramifications.

I said in a previous meditation that the danger is that America will not be trusted. And we saw the fallout of America becoming untrusted, and now what we see in the news is not only do the American people not believe, but it's spreading.

Not trusting something, you can talk about not believing, spreads.

Trust is broken, but now.

Non-belief means I do not care enough to even argue with you about this because I don't believe.

That's dangerous. We've gone past the point of they cannot be trusted to…

I don't even believe them, so we don't even have to have the conversation.

And that is one of the thoughts I've been meditating on this morning.
