I See
The waves rise then fall and crash against rock.
From far away forces greater than we.
Begin to shape the way we ought to be,
Splitting us apart a life with a lock.
When a foul future looks utterly bleak.
I allow my mind to return to you.
In timeless memory, I am anew.
For it is my spirit you safely keep.
That deep split our cavernous cave of care.
With secrets only we know to stay warm.
It is a place that you and I share.
Where the mysteries and the dreams are born.
Onus not for tis ne’er ours to e’er bare.
You are the sun I see in every mourn.
