Change Reality
“Reality is created by the mind. We can change our reality by changing our mind.“ - Plato.
I've previously spoken about perception and perspective and how they intertwine with reality, but over the last week, I've given it much thought, and this morning, I was meditating on energy versus power and how they move and manifest, and I thought it might behoove me to elaborate on perception. And I hope to try and do this in a byte-sized way.
In my lived experience, perspective is the old argument of, “Is it a nine or a six?” Perspective is where you land in the room. If you are standing on the left, it is a nine, and if you're on the right, it's a six. Your perspective informs your reality.
Yet perception is the capacity to see both. Having perception can then inform the perspective.
If I have the capacity to move around the room, the truth changes. That is why truth is in the gray, for it is perception. It is not one side or the other. It is in the middle; it is the capacity to hold both.
The importance of this is if one does not have the flexibility to shift one's mind, thus creating one's reality.
Someone, something will always have the capacity to move your perspective because they, it, will always have the power of perception, the ability to change.
Thus, the importance is to harness your own flexibility of mind to see the larger perception instead of your own perspective, for then you can create the reality in the room.
